THANK YOU: A lot of tears fell today at Theresa Betty Amero’s home, when her grandson James Amero and his family, wife and 5 kids came for a visit. James is Ricky’s son of Winnipeg; so I had 7 people. I never knew they were coming, some did, but didn’t tell me because it was a surprise. I guess it was a big one, I was not prepared for it food wise, haha, and I felt so bad there was nowhere to sleep 7 of them. Paul & Karen had moved and had a big house so they stayed with them for 2 nights. I thank them for helping out. Karen made them a rappie pie and on wednesday I had potato salad, ham & wienners. I was so happy to see them that I never thought of food. They have 4 boys and 1 girl; she is like a little doll, so sweet, the boys too are very nice. They are a nice family, his wife is very nice. I sure hated to see them leave on the 5th for Halifax, where they stayed overnight, then off to P.E.I. and Peggy’s Cove afterwards. Then off to New Brunswick, Ontario, a few places in between, then back to Winnipeg. He had to be back by the 15th to go to work on the 19th. Dear Lord let them have a safe trip to get home safe. The only 2 grandkids I haven’t seen are Clarck’s: he has 1 boy and 1 girl. I pray I can see them: it would have to be soon since I am not that good. I gave James a little money to help someone . There may not be a lot but it will buy them a hot dog, haha. I love them so very much and I sure miss Ricky; he would have been a Leo on July 1st. We all miss him forever. I have 9 great grandkids in Winnipeg, to bad they are so far away. James got all the things he liked; his rappie pie. They had clams & chips from a diner in Weymouth. They enjoyed it all and they love it here. Thanks again Paul & Karen.
