SAULNIER: Leon Micheal Saulnier passed away Aug 4, 2025, at the age of 69 of Lac La Biche, Alberta. Formerly of New Tusket, Nova Scotia. Born Oct 23, 1955 - Aug 4, 2025. He was the son of the late Lawrence (Mike) and Stella(Sullivan) Saulnier. He is survived by his daughter Melissa and granddaughter Adrianna. Also his spouse Darlene MaCor and family of Lac La Biche, Alberta. He is also survived by his family of Nova Scotia. Brothers: gordon and Betty Saulnier (Alyesford) Mark Saulnier (Windsor), Darren and Tabby Saulnier (Port Lorne), Sisters: Faye & the late Chester Mullen (Hassett),Joylene & the late Donald Gavel (now Herman Mullen Easton), Sandra & the late Alton Ford (Havelock), Holly & the late Desmond (Doug)William (Tideview Terrace Digby). Many nieces & nephews. He was predeceased by his brother Wayne. Sister Susan in infancy. Nephew: Reggie Mullen & Jimmy Ford. Through out Leon’s years he worked many jobs. Leaving home at a young age he moved to the Valley where he worked at the Peat Bog in Alyesford. Leon was a Jack of all trades. Working on Construction woods work for many people and doing christmas trees. Also mink ranch and fish plant. Later years he moved to Alberta where he met his spouse Darlene MaCor. He worked in the woods driving a skidder, staying at the camp through the week for eighteen years until his death. Cremation has taken place. And there will be a service at the Amazing Grace Baptist Church in Granville. Mon. Sept 8, 2025 at 2 pm Burial at a later date.
