Young Women from Amirault's Hill, about 1914

Eugene Meuse, photographer & inventor (1885-1972), took photograph of freinds & relatives in his community of Amirault's Hill. Meuse was a son of Captian "Gabe" and Genevieve "Jane" (Boutier) Muise. He fished, mined in New Brunswick, worked on the construction of the Welland Canal, traveled in the West, and eventually settled in Halifax.
