A fine ship named Vanduara1, 1367 tons register, was launched from the shipyard if the owner at Grosses Coques, Clare on October 29, 1882. Built under the superintendence of Celestine LeBlanc for George H. Lovitt of Yarmouth. She was towed to Saint John to be rigged and fitted for sea.
