There's an App for that!While the Lobster Shopper can be read online using the browser on your Apple or Android mobile product, there's also a free App available that will let you download the current edition directly to your device for offline reading.
FlipExplorer was specifically developed for offline reading of the FlipBook code we use for our online copy of the Lobster Bay Shopper. The FREE App is available from the App Store for use on Apple Products and from Google Play for Android Devices. Just click on the appropriate link to get the App.
 
Once the App is installed, just click on the FlipExplorer Icon on your device to load or read issues of the Lobster Bay Shopper. When you first run FlipExplorer, the "New Book" interface will appear automatically. If it's not displayed, tap the Enter the URL of the issue you'd like to download into the URL line, and select the "Start Download" button. On some smaller screen devices running in Landscape mode, the "Start Download" button may not be visible as it is off the screen. If this is the case, just rotate your device into Portrait mode and the "Start Download" button should appear. The URL to use for downloads is in the format: http://lobsterbayshopper.com/LobsterBayShopperXXX/"(where XXX is replaced by the issue number). For example, the download URL of the current issue at the time that this page was uploaded is: http://lobsterbayshopper.com/LobsterBayShopper752/ Past issues, back as far as Issue 547 of the Lobster Bay Shopper (published on January 14, 2016), are also available for download. |
